To Configure Disciplines and Activity Types

  1. Double-click CSST.mdb (C:\ConstructSimData\Projects\<ProjectName>\CSST) to open CSST-Admin.
  2. In CSST-Admin, expand CSST Set-Up and double-click Configure Data Processing Converters. The VCM Data Processing Configuration window opens.
  3. In the Disciplines and Activity Types section, click Discipline Settings to configure the discipline and activity types. The Disciplines and Activities dialog opens.
  4. On the Discipline tab, select a discipline and then click Add or Remove to update the list of disciplines.
  5. If you click Add, the New Discipline dialog opens, which allows you to add the discipline. Assign a Code and Name and click OK. The new discipline displays in the list of Disciplines.
  6. Open the Activity type tab.
  7. To add an additional activity type, select the Work package type and Discipline and then click Add. The New Activity dialog opens.
  8. Give the new activity a Code and Name and click OK. The new activity displays in the list of activity types.
  9. Open the Product Model Types tab.
  10. To add additional product model types, select the Discipline and then click Add. The New Product Model Type dialog opens.
  11. Give the new product model type a Code and Name and click OK. The new model type displays in the list of model types.
  12. Close the Disciplines and Activities dialog.
